    At 09:09 on October 23, the Ministry of National Defense (MND) reported that it had detected the launch of a Long March-2 carrier rocket carrying a civilian communications satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province. The rocket passed through Taiwan’s southwestern ADIZ before heading to the Western Pacific. However, the rocket was not deemed a security threat due to its altitude exceeding the atmosphere. The ROC military is using joint ISR systems to closely monitor related activities and has taken necessary response measures.
