The Ministry of National Defense stated today (6) that it has, since 08:50, has successively detected 20 sorties of various PLA main and auxiliary fighter aircraft as J-16, KJ-500, and UAVs and others for sea-faring activities. Amon them, 16 of the sorties crossed the median line and its extension line to enter our northern, central, and southwest airspace, as they worked out with PLA warships in conducting "Joint combat readiness and patrols." In coping with it, the Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance measures to closely monitor the situation, and dispatched mission aircraft, warships and shore-based missile systems to respond appropriately.
