    On September 29, the Ministry of National Defense (MND) reported that it had detected the PLARF and the PLAA’s long-range MRL forces conducting multiple waves of live fire exercises in Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Qinghai, and Xinjiang. The ROC military has been closely monitoring developments through ISR operations and has placed its air defense units on high alert.
The MND has stressed that global development is deeply intertwined with the security and prosperity of the Indo-Pacific region. Thus, any acts of aggression or provocations will significantly disrupt the region’s stability. Faced with such challenges, the ROC military will steadfastly stand by its principle of “preparing for war without seeking it, responding to war without avoiding it,” strengthening its defense capabilities and swiftly responding to any developments.
